Man posts pic on WhatsApp, wife attempts suicide
Mild tension prevailed at the Vellore all women police station on Monday after a woman, who consumed poison and came to lodge acomplaint against her husband, fell unconscious.

According to police, Sasikala (33), wife of Kumar of Kaspa, came to the police station to lodge a complaint that her husband, from whom she had separated 6 months ago, was abusing her over the phone.
While explaining the incident, she suddenly fell unconscious. During a check cops found a poison bottle and rushed her to hospital.
Sasikala had allegedly consumed poison as she got calls for sexual favours after her husband circulated her photo on WhatsApp. Further investigation is on.
