Sensing trouble the speaker P Dhanapal intervened and said that the Chief Minister was magnanimous and wanted to ensure that the objective of the special session is not diverted. Dhanapal also warned the DMK MLA and insisted the legislator maintain decorum inside the Assembly hall. “The action of Karnataka has caused deep anguish and apprehension in Tamil Nadu and I welcome the resolution wholeheartedly,” rebel leader TTV Dhinakaran told reporters after welcoming the resolution in the house.
