The complainants also submitted screenshots of messages sent by the accused, known as Mohan, to the police. A source in the police said that in the messages, the casting director attempted to give the actresses roles in films in exchange for sexual favours. The women claimed that they were prompted to approach the police after a few obscene videos of Mohan surfaced in social media recently. The complainants alleged that they were suffering psychologically owing to the sexual advances by the accused.

The women also claimed that they suspect Mohan to have taken advantage of a lot of other women using the same modus operandi.
