People should accept NGT’s nod for reopening of copper plant: Raja
BJP National Secretary H Raja on Tuesday said people should accept the National Green Tribunal’s order permitting Sterlite copper to resume operations at its Thoothukudi plant.

Speaking to newspersons here, Raja said the NGT order must be accepted and youngsters should not be provoked to protest .
He also said the State Government is yet to give itsfinal report on the extent of damage caused bycyclone Gaja to the Centre.
“The Central government could give financial assistance only after the State submits the report,” he said.
On Stalin’s criticism of Modi, the BJP leader called him an ‘immature politician’ uttering lies for the last two years. “The money spent by the party to unveil the statue of its late leader could have been donated to the cyclone victims,” he said.
Raja also urged the State Government to curb the movement of Naxals in the Western Ghats. “If need be, Tamil Nadu should not hesitate to seek the help of the Centre,” he added.
