House surgeon found dead in Tiruchy GH

It is said, Sudharsan (24) of Kattur in Tiruchy was on house surgeon training in the Tiruchy GH. On Friday, he was working in the night shift in the surgical department. It is said, Sudharsan was missing in the ward from the late hours and so, his friends grew anxious and were searching for him.

On Saturday morning, the sanitary staff, who went to clean the toilet, was shocked to see Sudharsan lying unconscious and he alerted his higher-ups. Soon, the hospital authorities rushed him to the zero delay ward for treatment. But, he was declared ‘brought dead.’

On information, police registered a case and started investigations into the student’s death.

The police said that a syringe and a sedative drug was found near the body of Sudharshan and suspected that it could have caused his death.

However, cops said that the exact cause of death of the house surgeon could be detected only after the post mortem process.Further investigations are on into the case.
