The movie has Jayam Ravi playing the lead role and is produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar in the direction of Karthick Thangavel.
A petition filed by R Kanagavel Pandian of Iravathanallur, Madurai district came up for hearing before a Division Bench of Justices M Nirmal Kumar and C Saravanan.
The petitioner claimed that some scenes were created to defame the Bar Council members, who are representatives of the entire society, and projected as if advocates were drunkards who support alcoholism, besides creating disharmony and disrepute between the student community and the legal fraternity. Citing these scenes, the petitioner asked for such controversial scenes to be deleted from the movie.
On hearing the petition, the bench adjourned the case to January 3, 2019.
