‘CM stifling media on Kodanad issue’

Reiterating that Palaniswami does not deserve to continue in his post, Stalin said that it was the job of advocates to appear for any accused persons.
Instead of clarifying on the issue and bravely facing the case, the CM is spreading rumours about the advocates who had appeared for the accused.
“There is nothing wrong in advocates, even if they are DMK advocates, appearing for the accused. It is a criminal case involving the CM. Sayan and Manoj should not meet the same tragic situation as Kanagaraj,” Stalin said in a statement.
He also added that the CM should understand that the advocates were helping the accused only in the court of law and not in any other way.
Accusing the CM of intimidating media houses carrying the news, Stalin claimed that reports suggest that even wires of channels airing the news are being cut. The Governor should act on the petition the DMK had submitted in this connection, he said.
