TN budget 2019: FM announces Ra 10,000 crore for farmers
The Finance Minister has announced the allocation of Rs 10,000 crore for farmers' aid to buy crops. He also announced TN's allocation of Rs 169 crore for farmers protection scheme.

Tamil Nadu's budget is being presented on Friday by Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, who holds the Finance portfolio.
The budget for 2019-20 was started in the House at 10:00 am.
The state Finance Minister started the session with Thirukural and praised the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa for her policy based decisions. He highlighted the achievements and milestones happened in Tamil Nadu during the AIADMK governance.
