DMK front raps AIADMK, BJP for by-poll delay

"I have already predicted that a situation has arisen to conduct bye-polls along with Lok Sabha elections since the MLA seats cannot be kept vacant for more than six months”, DMK president M K Stalin said
Alleging that the BJP government is attempting to stop the bye-election to be conducted along with general polls by violating the laws, he said “this has to be stopped.”
Claiming that the BJP-AIADMK relationship continues to stall the elections to 21 vacant Assembly constituencies, the DMK leader said “this is anti-democratic, unconstitutional and illegal.”
“The people of Tamil Nadu will respond in a fitting manner,” he said, adding: “I call upon the Election Commission of India to hold the elections immediately.”
