2 from Tirupur burnt alive in Delhi hotel fire
Two employees of a knitwear unit in Tirupur were burnt alive in the massive fire that broke out at the Arpit Palace Hotel in Delhi on Tuesday.

The two were identified as Aravind Sugumaran (40) from Ammapalayam and Nandakumar (33) from Karumathampatty in Coimbatore.
Both were employed in a knitwear manufacturing unit near Tirupur New Bus Stand. “They had gone to participate in an exporters meet held in a private hotel in New Delhi. After the day-long meeting, Aravind and Nanda Kumar had returned to the Arpit Palace Hotel. They were scheduled fly back to Coimbatore on Tuesday. But, tragedy struck before that,” police said.
Officials of Tamil Nadu House in New Delhi confirmed their death and were making arrangements to hand over their bodies to their kin. The family members of the deceased persons have flown to Delhi to bring their mortal remains.
