AIADMK-led grand alliance enfolds PMK

Supported by national party BJP, AIADMK-led grand alliance in Tamil Nadu is striving to take in several political parties into their fold. As a move to strengthen their alliance, AIADMK decided to forge alliance with PMK.

According to reports, an accord has been reached between the two political parties on Lok Sabha election. AIADMK co-ordinator O Panneerselvam on Tuesday allocated 7 Lok Sabha seats and 1 Rajya Sabha seat to PMK

He added that PMK would support AIADMK in bypolls for 21 assembly constituencies. 

Earlier, AIADMK Ministers held meeting with Piyush Goyal and several other senior leaders of BJP. The number of seats shared between AIADMK and BJP is not yet finalised.

Reports say that AIADMK's talks with DMDK is underway and seats are yet to be finalised.
