Major reshuffle of IPS officers in State

DGP Srilakshmi Prasad, who was heading the vigilance wing in TANGEDCO, has been asked to assume the office of DGP, TN human rights commission. 

Abhay Kumar Singh ADGP, idol wing has been asked to hold additional charge of chief vigilance officer, Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers Ltd. 

N Baskaran, inspector general of police, Tamil Nadu Police Academy, has been transferred and posted as new commissioner of Tirunelveli city in the place of Mahendra Kumar Rathod, who was asked to take charge as DIG, TN Police Academy.  V Balakrishnan, DIG and joint commissioner of police, Chennai, East, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Vellore in the place of V Vanitha, who has been transferred and posted as JC, East, Chennai.  

S Selvanagarathinam, DC, Triplicane, has been transferred and posted as SP, Coastal Security, in the place of ET Samson, who has been posted as SP organised crime intelligence unit, Chennai. 

P Rajan, SP, OCIU, has been transferred and posted as DC, law and order, Tirunelveli, in the place of G Suguna Singh, who has been asked to take charge as DC, Triplicane.
