Narayanasamy offered prayers at Subramaniya Swamy temple in Tiruchendur on Saturday. Speaking to reporters, he said the NDA-led coalition would suffer a humiliating defeat in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala as all the secular parties have joined hands to face the polls.

Coming down heavily on the AIADMK, he said that the party has aligned with the BJP, which did harm to people of Tamil Nadu in issues concerning jallikattu, fishermen, NEET exam and hydro carbon project. Hence, people would teach the AIADMK-led combine a fitting lesson in the upcoming polls, he said. The AIADMK has buckled under the influence of the BJP.

Not sparing the NR Congress, Narayanasamy called the AIADMK-led coalition an opportunistic alliance. He added that the All India NR Congress had betrayed the AIADMK in 2011 and 2016 elections after former chief minister of Puducherry N Rangasamy failed to keep up promises made to the AIADMK and the PMK. Even a few months ago, Rangasamy made harsh criticism against the AIADMK, which acts against the interest of its supremo and former chief minister J Jayalalithaa, he said.

Exuding confidence that the UPA-led alliance would achieve massive victory in all the 40 constituencies in the ensuing Parliamentary elections, he camedown heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
