Gift me victory in 40 seats: Stalin to cadre

In his signature letter to cadre written on the eve of his birthday, Stalin said that as soon as the regime changes at the Centre, the rulers of the state, who stay in power at the behest of the Centre, would go home on their own.

Rulers at the Centre, who are incapable of safeguarding the people of the country are plotting to politicise the bravado of the Army Forces and gain electoral dividends, Stalin alleged, adding that the people would not believe the BJP in the electoral battle.

“People of Tamil Nadu are waiting for the opportunity to pass their verdict on the incumbent Central and state governments and the verdict would echo up to the Himalayas,” said the DMK president.

Urging the party cadre to strive to ensure the victory of the party in all 40 constituencies to rescue the pluralistic nation from the grip of fascist forces, Stalin said that the cadre have the responsibility to ensure victory in the 21-seat Assembly bypoll too, which is expected to be held along with the ensuing Parliamentary elections.
