VCK gets 2 seats in DMK-led alliance
In the second round of talk with DMK over seat sharing on Monday, VCK is allotted with 2 seats for the coming Lok Sabha election.

DMK and VCK held second round of seat sharing talk at party headquarters Anna Arivalayam on Monday. VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan confirmed that an accord has reached over seat sharing. He told the reporters that 2 parliamentary seats have been allotted to VCK.
The constituencies to be allotted to VCK will be announced later, he said.
He added that the symbol in which VCK is to contest in Lok Sabha election is not yet finalised.
The principal opposition party, which has allotted seats to Congress (10), IUML (1) and KNMDK (1).
The pact comes after the ruling AIADMK cobbled alliances with BJP and PMK allotting them five and seven Lok Sabha seats respectively.
