The video showed a big yellow cake placed on the seat of a two-wheeler with ‘Royal II M Com’ written on it. While a group of students were cheering and spraying party foam, two students were seen fiercely cutting the cake with machete, as if hacking it. Though the police said that they have not received any complaint in this regard, officials added they would conduct an inquiry into the matter as it caused nuisance to the public. Sources said that they were students of a private college in Srirangam, who were celebrating their farewell party.
Recently, a history-sheeter and his accomplices were arrested in Salem after a video of him cutting cake with a long knife went viral.
