TNPSC exams' dates changed due to Parliamentary elections 2019
The written exams for Accounts Officer, Class – III, Tamil Nadu Treasuries and Accounts Service and the Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade – II will be conducted as scheduled.

In an earlier announcement, TNPSC had announced that the exams for the following posts would be held on April 20 and April 21: Senior Technical Assistant, Junior Chemist, Assistant Geologist, Assistant Superintendent of Approved Schools.
Due to the upcoming elections, it was decided to advance the exam dates and the announcement followed in this regard.
1. Senior Technical Assistant / Junior Technical Assistant in the Department of Handlooms and Textiles - 11.05.2019 (FN & AN)
2. Chemist / Junior Chemist in the Department of Industries and Commerce - 05.05.2019 (FN & AN)
3. Assistant Geologist / Assistant Geochemist in the Geology & Mining and PWD Departments - 05.05.2019 (FN & AN)
4. Assistant Superintendent of Approved Schools in Social Defence Department - 05.05.2019 (FN & AN)
It was also mentioned that as announced the exams will take place in Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore districts.
