Addressing an election meeting here as part of his campaign in support of both, the Congress candidate V Vaithilingam for Puducherry lone constituency and DMK candidate Venkatesan for Thattanchavady assembly by-election on April 18, Stalin pointed out that late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had described N R Congress President N Rangasamy as a traitor, one who least respected coalition dharma and to vote for N R Congress amounts to ‘suicide’. The AIADMK is now supporting the one their late leader hated, he charged.

He said PMK leader just a day before aligning with AIADMK was criticizing the party and its government. He also represented to the governor against the AIADMK government with adequate evidences and threatened to move the court if action was not taken.

When they won the bargain, they aligned with the same AIADMK. Jayalaithaa had termed the PMK as a violence party and it is there in the Tamil Nadu assembly records, he alleged.

He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave tall promises during 2014 Lok Sabha election including providing jobs to 2 crore people, enhancement of the lives of farmers and deposit of 15 lakh in each bank account. But none of his promises were fulfilled. Further in the BJP manifesto for the 2019 Lok Sabha election, it failed to mention any of its achievements in the last five years or any promises on NEET.”

Modi spent most time in foreign countries and now at the time of elections only he is coming to Tamil Nadu, Stalin said.

He also said that former DMK President M Karunanidhi’s birthday on June 3 would be a day on which Modi will be sent back home.

Alleging that Modi is sending Governors and Lt Governors to ‘spoil’ states, Stalin said that Lt Governor Kiran Bedi in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit are having a separate Rajya.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami lack guts to oppose the Tamil Nadu governor, but Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy opposed strongly the Lt Governor without caring about the consequences. Narayanasamy organized a dharna in front of the Raj Nivas and at that time NR Congress Founder N Rangaswamy was not seen anywhere, Stalin said. In twitter, Stalin tweeted alleging that Modi, Edappadi and Bedi are ruining India,Tamil Nadu and Puducherry respectively.
