Interim relief for teacher who failed in SET exams

Madras High Court has given a go ahead for the dismissed teachers to appear for June SET exam. The court also annuled the teachers' dismissal orders and stopped further actions towards dismissal.

The Madras High Court provided an interim relief from dismissal of teachers who failed in SET exams. This order came following a petition filed by four teachers of Thiruvannamalai.

Over 1,500 teachers are facing the barrel for failing in SET exams. The High Court ordered them to appear for the June exams and reserved the hearing for the second week of June.
