NDA meet hinted at ministry for drinking water, says Sarath
All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK) leader R Sarath Kumar on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is interested in forming a government with the help of state parties. “In the meeting, held at Delhi, Modi told all the alliance partners that he will form government with the help of state parties and that is good news,” he said.

He further said that in the meeting there were discussions to form a separate ministry for drinking water. “I do not know whether interlinking of rivers is possible, but it is sure that the Union government will take steps to solve drinking water crisis by forming a separate ministry,” said Sarath Kumar.
Meanwhile, for thefirst time in the Lok Sabha elections, the DMDK had hinted at sharing power at the Centre.
Decision on sharing power after discussions: Sudhish
Party deputy secretary LK Sudhish, on Wednesday, said that any decision on sharing power at the Centre will be decided after discussion with alliance partners.
Replying to a question on whether DMDK is having any intention to share power at the centre, he replied, “Decision to be part of the Union government will be taken after holding discussions with our party leader and leaders of our alliance.”
Sudhish attended the meeting called by BJP leaders in Delhi and returned to Chennai. Sudhish said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to power again.
“The exit polls havepredicted that Modi will come to power again and when he comes to power all the alliance partners have decided to support himat the Centre.”
When asked about the exit poll survey for the state, he replied that AIADMK alliance will win all the 39 constituencies, including the Puducherry seat.
