OP Ravindranath Kumar to be inducted into NDA-2

Deputy CM O Panneerselvam's son and Theni MP OP Ravindranath Kumar is all set to make a foray into the NDA cabinet after his maiden contest and victory in Lok Sabha election.

After a humongous majority of 353 for the NDA of which 303 is wrested by BJP single handedly, PM Narendra Modi once again is set to be at the helm. 

Lone Tamil Nadu MP of the NDA alliance OP Ravindranath Kumar from Theni is very much likely to get a cabinet berth, as he got a call from Prime Minister's Office. Talks are thick that another berth may go to Tamil Nadu in the form of BJP's Tamil Nadu General Secretary Tamilisai Soundararajan. 

Modi will take oath in a pompous ceremony taking place at Rajpath on 7 PM today. The results were out on May 23 and the oath taking ceremony scheduled week later on May 30. The BJP and its allies extensively held thanksgiving meet and simple door-to-door thanking of voters nationwide. President Ram Nath Kovind will initiate the Prime Minister and his cabinet into office.

There are 50-60 probables in NDA-2 ministry. Arun Jaitely citing health issues had opted out of the cabinet. There are many others who will have another tenure in the cabinet, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, Smriti Irani, Ravishankar Prasad, Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Prakash Javadekar, Nitin Tomar, JP Nadda, Harsh Vardhan and Babul Supriyo.

The popular of the first timers will be PM Modi's man Friday Amit Shah, who is likely to get the home ministry. After which he has to relegate his BJP president post.
