New panel to take up Sterlite issue

The Vedanta corporation had moved the Madras High Court rescind the order to shut down the copper smelter plant. The panel that was looking into the case was headed by Sasidharan who recused after the request of Vedanta to change the panel.

The Chief Justice assigned the panel comprising Bhavani Subbarayan and Sivagnanam the task of handling the case.
