“The ‘leaderless’ party managed to secure one seat and the party should not blame others that aligned with it. It is not good culture,” Radhakrishnan told reporters here. He also asked leaders of ‘friendly’ parties to hold their tongues and stop blaming the BJP for their defeat. “Every party should take responsibility of defeat,” he added.
He hinted that the BJP-AIADMK alliance may not work out but circumstances could change during election,he noted.
Radhakrishnan also said that all the 37 DMK-Congress MPs should sell their properties to settle the education as well as agri loans availed of by the people of Tamil Nadu within six months. Otherwise, the people would teach a lesson to these parties which cheated the same people during the 1967 elections with the promise of ‘3kg rice for one rupee’ campaign that they are yet to fulfil.
