TN CM writes to PM Modi on Mekedatu dam
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Palanisamy has raised concerns of the construction of the Mekedatu Dam by the Karnataka Government.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ,requesting him to reject Karnataka's project report on the construction of Mekedatu dam and to also deny a project an environmental clearance.
The letter further stated that Tamil Nadu's concerns had to heeded to before coming to a conclusion on the construction of the dam.
TN CM griped the riparian Cauvery delta districts will be worst hit with the construction of the dam.
