While meeting reporters in Madurai airport, BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan said, “ Kamarajar was the forerunner of a corrupt-free regime, and that is why Modi repeatedly exemplifies Kamarajar when he speaks of a corrupt-free nation. Stalin and his DMK allies are spreading false statements in the campaigns that the Central Government is imposing Hindi in Tamil Nadu. None of what they say is true. They did not see certain language practices when they were in power, and today they are speaking to create an impression like the Central Government is deliberately ignoring Tamil.”

She added, “Postal department selection test is currently underway. There is no opinion against the inclusion of state languages. But until 2016, the test was conducted only in Hindi and English without state languages. After the introduction of the state languages, it had multiple choice questions where many scored full percentage. There was a huge scandal in it. An investigation on this is still in progress. They have started to follow the earlier procedure now after the incident. In yesterday's exam, it was clearly stated that the first priority in Tamil Nadu is for the Tamils. The railway sector jobs in Tamil Nadu will also give priority to the Tamils. Therefore, I vehemently condemn DMK’s  action of creating an appearance as Tamil is being ignored here.”

She concluded by saying that it has become habitual to oppose any newly devised plan, without studying about it completely.
