Teach AIADMK a lesson, tells Stalin
Like the voters in the other 37 Lok Sabha seats, those in Vellore, too, should teach the ruling AIADMK a lesson for denying to provide land to bury late DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi, said Opposition Leader MK Stalin at the last public meeting before the constituency went to polls.

Charging that the AIADMK was interested only in corruption, commission and collection, he said its leaders have become BJP slaves to safeguard their own interests.
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, who claims to be a farmer, was a supporter of the 8-lane expressway and hydrocarbon projects which were staunchly opposed by actual farmers, Stalin said, and asked: “Is this a sign of good government?” Referring to the Pollachi sex scandal, he added: “Is Pollachi a sign of your pollatha (atrocious) aatchi (government)?”
On NEET, he said though the late AIADMK leader J Jayalalithaa had boldly opposed the nationwide test, the present government accepted it after her demise, resulting in seven lives being lost since 2017, when the assembly passed two resolutions against it.
Stalin added that he was willing to accept any punishment if deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam could prove his allegation that Karunanidhi belittled late President APJ Abdul Kalam. “Otherwise, are you willing to accept any punishment I give,” he challenged.
