Jaya memorial inaugural: Chief Minister to invite Prime Minister
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami is set to visit Delhi to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the inaugural function of memorial for the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

Sources in the Secretariat said, “The Chief Minister is scheduled to travel to Delhi on November 19 to invite Prime Minister to participate in the inaugural function of Jayalalithaa’s memorial which will be held on her birth anniversary celebrated on February 24, next year.”
Sources also said that state government had already planned to celebrate the upcoming birth anniversary of Jayalalithaa in a grand manner by inaugurating the memorial constructed at the cost of Rs 50 crore and so the works were going on at a rapid pace.
The final phase of the memorial, called the ‘Phoenix’ is underway by erecting iron pillars for the phoenix structure and so public were not allotted into the memorial till the completion of the structure.
