Hurt in property fight, man heads to Vellore Collectorate

A man bleeding with head injuries created a furore during the weekly grievances day meeting at the Vellore Collector’s office on Monday.

According to the police, Pandian (48) of Moonjurpet village near Adukamparai on the outskirts of Vellore town, had a property dispute with his elder brother Rajendran. The brothers frequently quarreled over their ancestral property located at their hometown. During one such quarrel on Monday, Rajendran allegedly attacked Pandian with a sickle and injured his head.


The victim instead of seeking medical treatment, immediately rushed to the Vellore collector’s office bleeding. Pandian reached the portico of the office, when police on duty stopped him and started enquiries. After learning about the dispute, the police sent him for medical treatment in a 108 ambulance. The investigations are on.
