2 youth who murdered couple held after 2 years
Two youth, who were involved in the murder of a couple two years ago, were arrested on Tuesday.

Ramesh (39) and his wife Latha (32), residents of Perakambi, near Mannachanallur, were murdered by unknown gang in April 2018 and the gang had stolen Rs 3,000 cash, seven sovereign gold and the bike of Ramesh, before they escaped.
Siruganur police had registered a case and were searching for the gang.
SP Zia Ul Haq told reporters that a special team, led by DSP Rajasekaran, who traced the bike that was stolen by the accused, was following them and a few days back, the bike had met with an accident at Cuddalore.
On further inquiry, the person who was riding the bike was identified as Kishanth.
The police then secured Kishanth and during questioning, he confessed to the crime and identified his associate as Palanisamy. Subsequently, the police arrested the duo, said the SP
The special team of police have then identified the gang as Kishanth (21) of Chathiramalai in Perambalur and his friend Palanisamy (21) from Valaiyur near Siruganur.
Subsequently, the police arrested the duo on Monday and was produced before the court. Later, they were sent to Central Prison here.
