Actor Richard starred ‘Draupathi’ landed into controversy right from the day when its teaser released. Social activists and rationalists claimed that the movie is speaking in favour of caste and is supporting honour killing, but however, the movie has found support from the PMK and BJP.

“The movie has many information required for the present generation. It stresses on the safety of girl children and parents of every girl child should watch the movie along with their family members,” said Ramadoss, in a tweet.

BJP National Secretary H Raja said, “Director Mohan and his team have worked out a very good movie and parents should watch along with their children because many girl children are cheated in the name of love.
