COVID-19: Janata Curfew commences in Tamil Nadu, popular spots on 'silent' mode

Cinema theatres, hotels, commercial establishments, railways, buses and airports have suspended their services today, owing to the curfew.

The popular and crowded spots of Tamil Nadu looked quiet on Sunday amidst country's fight against novel Coronavirus. 'Janata Curfew', imposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced around 7 am in the country. 

Cinema theatres, hotels, commercial establishments, railways, buses and airports have suspended their services today, owing to the curfew.  In Tamil Nadu, popular spots like Koyambedu market, Kathipara junction, Anna nagar tower, Vadapalani, Marina beach and Besant nagar saw very less or no people on the move. 

The confirmed cases in India for the novel Coronavirus has reached 315. Out of 315, 4 people have died from the virus.
