The revision of user fees comes to effect from Monday when the NHAI resumes toll collections across 570 plazas across the country which were shut down on March 25 to ease emergency services in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
Plazas at Vanagaram, Surapattu, Paranur, Athur, Mathur, Nemili, Chennasamudaram, Krishnagiri, Boothakudi and Vaniyambadi are among a few where the revision would come into force in the State.
“The user fees in the toll plazas would be revised in two batches – from April 1 and September 1 every year.
The revised user fee has come into effect from April 1 for 26 toll plazas.
When toll collection resumes on Monday, the vehicles will be charged as per the revised charges,” the NHAI official said.
