The incident took place two weeks ago when Suresh, a resident of Pallapalayam in Sulur had parked his two-wheeler in front of his workshop and was engaged in work. When he was set to leave after work, Suresh was shocked to find his two wheeler missing.

He examined the CCTV’s fixed in the locality and found a youth riding away in his vehicle. Not to give up, Suresh took up the job of finding out the thief and inquired with people in the neighbourhood. Finally, he got to know that the person, who rode away in his vehicle, was a migrant worker and was working in a tea shop in the same locality. However there was no information on his whereabouts.

Being so, Suresh received a call from the courier office in Sulur that a bike parcel had come in his name. Unbelievingly, he went to the parcel office and was more than surprised to find his stolen bike on Saturday.

It is believed that the migrant worker, who took away his bike to go to his home town in view of COVID-19 lockdown, had returned it to its rightful owner.
