DMK represented by its Press Relations Secretary TKS Elangovan submitted that pursuant to the permission given by the Centre, air-travel services have commenced from various countries to all states in India. But, Tamil Nadu government has totally prohibited such air-travel thereby denying permission for Tamils stranded outside the country to return, which is totally unconstitutional. So, the plea sought the court to declare the state’s move as unconstitutional.
