The Leader of Opposition also asked the Union government and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to rein in banks demanding EMI from customers who had availed moratorium referring to a farmer’s death in Tirupur.
Condemning Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami led AIADMK regime for conducting public hearings during the lockdown period with the resolve to acquire farm lands, Stalin said that the Chief Minister was rubbing salt into the wounds of farmers by conducting public hearing for BPCL’s Irugur-Devanakondi-IDPL project without concentrating on COVID-19 prevention even in his native district Salem where 1,247 people have been infected and 5 succumbed.
Later, in a message posted on his official Facebook page, Stalin welcomed the decision of the state government to drop the proposed new curriculum Wondering how Palaniswami regime would be imprudent even in a decision concerning students’ future, the DMK president called the CM “a withdrawal Palaniswami.”
