Southern Railway urges TN government to cancel special train service till July 31

Even when the state was seeing a surge in Covid-19, seven special trains were being operated for public in Tamil Nadu. The Southern Railway urged the Tamil Nadu government to cancel the special train service as the COVID 19 infection is on the rise.

According to the statement issued by the Southern Railway, they have urged the government of Tamil Nadu to cancel the special train service as the epidemic is on the rise.

Following this, seven special trains operating between Trichy - Chengalpattu, Madurai - Villupuram, Coimbatore - Katpadi, Chengalpattu - Trichy, Arakkonam - Coimbatore, Coimbatore - Mayiladuthurai, Trichy - Nagercoil will remain cancelled until July 31.
