“The State police should book all those posing threats to the secular and religious values of TN,” Dhinakaran said. “At a time of corona pandemic the recent activities in Tamil Nadu are disgusting and vicious elements continue to hurt the sentiments of Hindus under the concept of rational thinking, this cannot be tolerated any more,” the RK Nagar MLA said.

Then in retaliation, there are some speaking against the Prophet Mohammad. No one has the right to hurt the sentiment of religious followers.

Then Periyar statues in Coimbatore and Thirukovilur have been defamed and desecrated and this cannot be digested. Such activities pose a threat to the secular fabric.

“The State police have the authority and the powers to handle miscreants with an iron fist. All those responsible should be arrested without any delay and brought before the rule of law,” Dhinakaran said.

Joining the issue local administration minister SP Velumani questioned why the DMK leader M K Stalin was silent on the controversial youtube content posted by Karuppar Kuttam denigrating Hindu god Murugan.
