Objectionable videos deleted from YouTube
The Central Crime Brach (CCB) police have removed all the videos from YouTube channel Karuppar Koottam, which was in an eye of a storm for denigrating Hindu deity Lord Muruga, even as two more members of the channel landed in the police net.

Police sources said more than 500 videos have been removed after the CCB wrote to YouTube requesting it to block the channel.
In a related development, CCB police have arrested two more members of the channel. They were identified as Somasundaram from Otteri and Gugan from Maraimalainagar. They were being interrogated.
Three days back, the CCB police sealed the office of Karuppar Kootam in the city after arresting two of its members.
Police sources said the CCB have intensified the probe and were looking into the source of funds for the channel accused of hurting Hindu sentiments.
Following the arrest of Senthil Vasan, who was associated with Karuppar Koottam, its presenter Surendra Natarajan was nabbed at Ariyankuppam in Puducherry. With two more held on Tuesday, the total of numbers arrests in the case rose to four.
