Stalin said the verdict has demonstrated to the whole country that TN is a land of social justice refined by the Dravidian movement. Appealing to the Centre not go on appeal against the verdict, Stalin, in a statement this afternoon, said a committee should be set up without waiting for three months set by the court to ensure 50% reservation for OBCs in medical and dental courses as per the reservation principles followed by the states, in the current academic year.

Stalin thanked all parties, including ruling AIADMK, and his party advocate P Wilson for getting this verdict by presenting strong arguments before the court in the case.
