The fugitive saint Swamy Nithyananda who had fled out of India last year claimed to have established an island named the Kailasa Island, which according to him is a separate, sovereign country.
Nithiyananda who has been releasing videos in his "kailaasa.org" site, has recently announced that a central bank, much similar to the Reserve Bank of India, is being set up in his island nation. He further said that the bank will be named as the "Reserve Bank of Kailaasa".
Further, Nithyananda also said that a comprehensive economic policy document of 300 pages will be unveiled on the auspicious day of August 22, which happens to be Vinayaka Chathurthi.
"I have a great announcement. On Ganesh Chaturthi, we will be revealing the details of Reserve Bank of Kailaasa and currencies of Kailasa... The whole economic policy is ready, the economic policy of 300-page document is ready... "
Nithyananda also said that the policies for Internal currency usage and external currency exchange are also planned. "Everything is legal.. Our Reserve Bank is legitimately established.. Its structure is based on the Vatican bank. All the wealth (that) people are donating from all the world will be received and converted in an organized way. The funds will be spent for the intended purposes. On August 22, 2020, the name and shape of the currency will be revealed," Nithyananda revealed in the video.
While Police in India is was working with Interpol to locate him over charges of child trafficking and sexual offences, this self-proclaimed Godman sets up his own country and goes on further to set his own economic policies for his island nation.
