Worship places reopen across Tamil Nadu
All places of worship in non-containment zones across the state reopened for the public from Today

The central government has allowed reopening of temples and other places of worship from June 8. Consequently, in several states and Union Territories places of worship were opened for the public. Temples and other places of worship in Tamil Nadu remained closed for public till August 31.
The (SOPs) for places of worship also issued on Monday, stated that the usage of face masks is mandatory. Besides, only asymptomatic persons will be allowed inside the premises after the thermal screening. No physical offerings like prasad/distribution or a sprinkling of holy water, etc shall be allowed.
Nagore Dargah will be opened for pubic tomorrow and rituals and prayers will be conducted.
Nagai Collector granted permission to conduct rituals and prayers on Nagai Velankanni Matha Peralayam from tomorrow but only local devotees will be permitted inside the premises. Devotees from other districts and states are not allowed to enter premises till September 8.
