Dinesh Gundu Rao appointed as in-charge of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee
Ghulam Nabi Azad has lost his post of General Secretary.

In a major reshuffle that happened on Friday, the Congress party has appointed new faces to the Congress Working Committee positions.
The Congress party has appointed Dinesh Gundu Rao as in-charge of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee. The party further announced that he will also be the in-charge of Congress party in Puducherry and Goa districts in India.
Tamil Nadu MP Manickam Tagore has been appointed as in-charge of Congress Committee in Telengana. The party has appointed MP A Chellakumar as Odisha Congress Committee in-charge.
Ghulam Nabi Azad has lost his post of General Secretary.
Former Minister Tariq Anwar has been made a member of the Congress Working Committee and appointed as the General Secretary and in-charge of Kerala. It is to be noted that Anwar has earlier quit the Congress. Surprisingly, he has been handed over the main post.
