Key players in the TN assembly session test negative
This assembly session is expected to take a lot of hot potatoes for discussion like, NEP 2020 and Covid-19 measures.

Ahead of Tamil Nadu assembly session on September 14, CM, Deputy CM, Speaker and the Leader of Opposition tested negative for the contagion.
It was earlier decided that the session would be held for three days from September 14 to 16.
The venue shifted from St. George fort to Kalaivanar Arangam to adhere to physical distancing measures.
CM Edappadi K Palaniswami was tested at his residence in Chennai whereas Deputy CM O Panneerselvam was visited by the health authorities in his residence in Periyakulam. DMK chief MK Stalin too was tested and all of their results turned out to be negative.

Kalaivanar Arangam hosts the assembly for the fourth time in its history. It could hold 1,000 seats but was truncated to 300 due to physical distancing measures.
