Relatives of two covid-19 fatalities were in a lather over the deaths for which they allege lack of oxygen as the reason.
Kalaiselvi from Moonjurpattu and Jayamurugan from Kalambur (Both in Vellore) had passed away from covid-19 in the government hospital on Monday evening.
What had transpired as per the relatives' allegation was the hospital authorities have informed that both the patients were in ventilators and due to shortage in oxygen supply they suffered breathlessness but they were informed the issue will be sorted out soon but it was too late and they had passed away.
Notwithstanding, Vellore Revenue Officer Parthiban has rubbished this version and told both were dead due to liver and pneumonia complaint and not of dearth in oxygen supply.
