Raising a series of questions on various issues concerning the state, Haasan asked whether the state government to reply to the queries raised by his party on behalf of the public. On the NEET issue, he hit out at the ruling AIADMK government for failing to take steps to bring the education to the state list from the concurrent list and also the failure to impress upon the centre to ban the NEET with the justifiable reasons. “How many more deaths would the state witness because of the failure to provide proper coaching and self-belief to the students appearing of the NEET?” he said, wondering whether the state government believes that mere disbursal of the financial assistance would end the issue?

The actor politician also criticised the state government for not coming out with the plans to regularise the online education and improving the technical infrastructure in this regard. “What does this government would to do streamline this?” he asked. Hassan asked the state government to explain its plan to improve the state gross domestic product and job opportunities. “Why is the state hesitant to press the centre to release the state’s due share from the GST?” he asked. He also criticised the state government on various issues including the irregularities in the disbursal of the Kisan scheme, continuing operation of the state owned liquor shops and fishermen issues.
