School reopening only after discussion with parents and students: Minister Sengottaiyan

School Education minister KA Sengottaiyan has said reopening of schools will not take place without suggestions from parents and their wards.

Since the lockdown imposed new normal, school going has become a thing of a distant past with the routine taken for a toss.

Online classes are in place with issues like affordability cropping up, but its overalls are smooth both with the students and the parents.

As the question got pitched to Sengottaiyan he gave this answer while inaugurating welfare schemes worth Rs 97 lakhs.

Earlier he announced a short break in online classes from September 21 to 25  to reduce the stress of students.
