COVID 19: TN records 5,489 new COVID cases while 5,558 recovered
On a positive side 5,558 were recovered and discharged from various hospitals in the state.

As many as 5,489 people tested positive for coronavirus in Tamil Nadu over the past 24 hours, the State Health Department on Sunday, increasing the COVID infections toll in the state to 6,19,996.
In the last 24 hours, 66 people succumbed to COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu on Saturday pushing the death toll in the state to 9,748.
According to the bulletin released by the health department, as many as 5,558 were recovered and discharged today.
While the state capital, Chennai recorded a total of 1,348 new cases, the other districts reported 4,141 cases.
