Madurai Bench of Madras High Court consisting Justice Kirubakaran, Justice Pugazhenthi informed that withholding of NEET results will be heard today as an emergency case.
Earlier, advocate Prasanna Rajan took a plea requesting to withhold NEET results as a committee led by Justice Kalaiarasan is yet to pronounce its recommendation based on 7.5 percent reservation in NEET for government school students.
That the results should be announced only after the committee's recommendation.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami had introduced this reservation regime.
The Bench observing the germane argument had asked Prasanna Rajan to file his plea as a petition and said this case would be classified as an emergency case.
