COVID 19: TN records 2,481 new COVID cases while 3,940 recovered
On a positive side 3,940 people were recovered and discharged from various hospitals in the state.

As many as 2,481 people tested positive for coronavirus in Tamil Nadu over the past 24 hours, reported the State Health Department in its bulletin, on Monday.
With the new infections reported, the state's COVID tally increased to 7,29,507 cases.
In the last 24 hours, 31 people succumbed to COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu on Monday, pushing the death toll in the state to 11,183.
According to the bulletin, as many as 3,940 were recovered and discharged today. Also, taking the overall discharged count to 6,98,820.
While the state capital, Chennai recorded a total of 671 new cases, the other districts reported 1,810 cases over the past 24 hours.
