Now, candidates can access the portal which has exams dashboard facilities to get the latest updates in both English and Tamil, said TNPSC secretary K Nanthakumar. The dashboard would have all the details about exams. Several special features including candidate’s feedback box, important announcements by the Commission and applications to download are available on the website.

Also, jobseekers would also have facilities like online enrolling and downloading hall tickets for the respective exams.

For the first time, the website has been designed to make it accessible to those who are colour blind, have low vision, and even the visually impaired.

Officials from the Commission added that the new portal has been created in order to ensure transparency among the recruitment agency and jobseekers.

In the Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) option, general information sought by the candidates would be provided by the GRC itself, while the critical information that the candidates seek would be provided after consulting the sections concerned. Replies from GRC would be given to the candidates through in-person, post, and email, sources said, adding that their identity would be kept confidential in case of any critical information.

The portal has the list of the public information officers and undersecretaries of the departments concerned for any information relating to various subjects, including all court cases filed by or against the Commission.
